Over the past few years Suzi and I have been blessed with the fact that we have had the opportunity to meet honorable individuals that are involved in the ancient bead trade in both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Through these dealers we have been offered a large assortment of beautiful beads and have purchased what we felt were the best. The majority of these beads date from the first and second millennian BC.
One of the nice things regarding the contacts we have is they are in constant contact with the people that live in the rural areas that find many of the tens of thousands of artifacts that are scattered throughout the age old mountains.
Many of the beads we will show below were so well protected over all the centuries some look new, which is truly amazing when you think about the age of beads.
